Une selection de mes dernières lectures.

J'ai adoré le livre de Ludovic Hubler. Un livre de voyage ou l'on fait le tour du monde, On apprend des tonnes de choses.On aimerait qu'il n'y ait plus de frontière entre les pays. Un livre pleins d'humanité et de partage.

I loved the book by Ludovic Hubler. A travel book where you travel around the world, we learn a lot of things.We would like there are no more borders between countries. A book full of humanity and sharing.

En cours de lecture,en alternance avec mon tricot.
L'histoire des enfants de Cléopatre. Romancé mais avec un travail de recherche historique tres avancé, une decouverte. J'avais adoré egalement il y a quelques années les 3 tomes de Margaret George sur  Les memoires de Cléopatre.

Reading now, alternating with my knitting. 
The story of the childrens of Cleopatra. With a historical research very advanced, a discovery. I also loved a few years ago the three volumes of Margaret George on the memorys of Cleopatra.

Noêl approche

 


Je n'etais pas vraiment dans l'esprit de Noél entre un climat plûtot proche d'un mois d'Octobre et une montagne de travail. J'hesitais sur l'achat d'un sapin, cher a mon goût et n'étant pas  trés prèsente dans la pièce ou il se trouve.( plutot dans la pièce bureau ces temps ci).
Mais finalement , je suis contente de le voir clignoter le soir et je me rends enfin compte que les fêtes approchent.

I was not really in the spirit of Christmas from a climate rather close to a month in October and a mountain of work. I was hesitant about buying a tree, expensive to my taste and not very present in the room where it is. (Rather in the office room these days).

But finally, I'm glad to see flashing at night and I realize finally  that the holidays are approaching.

Vitrine de Noel

Pour cause de colis suspect ce matin sur la ligne de metro , j'ai fait un large detour et je suis passée devant les vitrine de Noel des galeries Lafayette.Ambiance rock&roll avec les poupées de Andrew Yang !
Un sympathique detour pour ne pas trop s'enerver après ce petit desagrement de bon matin!


Due to suspicious package this morning on the underground station line, I made a large detour and I walked near the Christmas windows at galleries Lafayette.Ambiance rock & roll withAndrew Yang dolls!

A nice detour so as not to get too much excited after this little inconvenience in the morning!

Un moment

Du temps pour buller, pour trainer chez soi, faire des gaufres pour le bureau demain(hein Tiphaine !), pour tricoter et se faire des mitaines associées a sa si belle et enorme echarpe tour de cou (qu'elle n'est pas prete de mettre, vu le temps magnifique qui s'impose sur la France).

Et meme bouger pour voir l'expo de Diane Arthus (particulière et marquante).

Bref un moment rien qu'a moi, de bonheur !

Time to lazing around, to mope at home, making waffles for the office tomorrow (Tiphaine eh!),  knitting fingerless mitt will be associated with the so beautiful and huge scarf neck (she is not ready to put, given the beautiful weather that is in France). 

And even moving to see the exhibition of Diane Arthus (special and memorable).

A brief moment just for me, happiness!

Laetitia notre genialissime cuistot créatif a fêté son anniversaire

le coup de coeur du samedi

AH, qu'elle est belle cette robe !
Une petite robe toute mignonne de chez Sessun, je suis limite a craquer dessus.
je pense que je ne suis pas la seule car en rupture de stock.
Et puis ensuite j'ai redecouvert Oysho (lingerie du groupe Zara)et  il y a pleins de petits choses bien sympathiques aussi.
Mais je suis sage... (presque)
(j'ai deja craqué hier sur un sac a un prix riquiqui ) chez Zara en jaune safran.

A cute little dress in Sessun, I am limited to crack it. 

I think I'm not the only one because out of stock. 

And then I rediscovered Oysho (lingerie group Zara) and there are lots of little things well nice too. 

But I am wise ... (almost)

Knitting

Octobre est passé comme un eclair ... November sera du meme style.
Une montagne de travail, et mon tricot commencé en octobre qui traine et qui va peutetre resté a ce stade pendant un long moment.J'ai voulu commencé un nouveau point un peu plus compliqué et  une erreur de rang et hop, tout est décalé et le losange se transforme en un truc tres bizzaroide.Pour le coup, mes 15 cm de depart sont deja a reduire de moitié si je veux essayer de continuer.Et en plus, j'ai reduit des mailles sans m'en rendre compte.Catastrophique.... On verra ... j'attends les avis d'expertes sur mon ouvrage avec les conseils de ma maman ou copine tres experte (hein Nat!)

A mountain of work, and my knitting, which began in October don't progress and remained at this stage perhaps for a long moment.I wanted to start a new point a little more complicated and  an error of rank and hop! everything is shifted and the diamond turns into something very bizarre.For once, my 15 cm are already starting to half if I want to try go on.And in addition, I  reduced mesh numbers.Catastrophic  .... We'll see ... I wait  expert opinion on my work with the advice of my mom or girlfriend very expert (hey Nat!)

London last week

Un petit tour a Londres pour faire du shopping et voir autre chose.
Toujours très agréable, heureusement sans la pluie.
Un tour a Bricklane, une balade sur King'sroad, un grand arret chez Anthropologie, une degustation de lemon cake dans un salon de thé" the chelsea teapot" très mignon, un tour chez Couverture (la boutique fashion pour enfant), une sortie pub a Soho le soir, sans oublier le marché de Portobello samedi matin et finir sur oxford street (Primark quand meme), Miss Seldfridge et Urban oufitters (Top shop est horriblement bruyant , je suis sortie au bout de 5 minutes, infernal)

A trip to London for shopping and see something else. 

Always pleasant, fortunately without rain. 

Bricklane walking, King'sroad shops , a great stop at Anthropologie, a tasting of lemon cake in a tearoom "the teapot Chelsea" very cute, a stop to the fashion boutique for children " Couverture", a night out in Soho pub, not to forget the Portobello Market on Saturday morning and finish on Oxford Street (Primark even), and Miss Seldfridge,  Urban oufitters (Top shop was horribly loud, I went out after 5 minutes, hell)

Defilé été 2012

J'aime beaucoup le défilé de Max Azria.
Un coté ethnic melangé a des modeles tres fluides et modernes.Tout est beau. Bravo!

J'ai reussi

Enfin, fini la semaine passée.....  
4 mois pour le faire.... par manque de temps. 
Je suis très contente du resultat pour mon 2 eme gilets et ma 3eme echarpes !
La suite au prochaine episode, je continue le tricot en mode cool.

Finally, end the past week ..... 
4 months to do it .... lack of time. 
I am very happy with the result for my 2nd  cardigan and my 3rd  scarfs! 
Following the next episode, I continue knitting cool mode.

the dress is not in my size (I had seen in stores in March)
and the rest I like a lot .....

Un petit air de deja vu- a small family resemblance

J'ai acheté ces chaussures l'an passé pour un mariage (Mellow Yellow).
Je les adore mais les talons sont tres hauts et pas faciles a mettre finalement ...
mais je ne desespere pas....
il faut que je pense a prendre une double paires de chaussures
pour en changer en cours de journée ou a mettre au bureau.
N'empeche, j'ai été frappé par la similitude avec celle ci dessous vu chez Anthropologie....

I bought these shoes last year for a wedding (Mellow Yellow). 
I love them but the heels are very high and not easy to finally walk ... 
but I do not despair .... 
I must remember to take a double pairs of shoes 
to change during the day or to the office. 
Still, I was surprise by the similarity to the one below seen at Anthropologie ....
